Electricity Data

The power sector alone contributes to 41% of global CO2 emissions and 18% of freshwater withdrawals. Meanwhile, energy access remains a salient development challenge, attracting a significant amount of private sector and civil society action and investment. Open access to electricity sector data is therefore crucial to coordinate mitigation and adaptation planning, and to inform energy access efforts.
