# Publishing the Care Indicators System

### Public event to review the CIS

Once datasets have been collected and computed, a public presentation of the CIS is recommended, through a public event where decision-makers, specialists and stakeholders can be invited to participate. The objective of the presentation is to make the CIS known and to receive feedback from actors with expertise in the field. In addition, the event should serve to install the CIS as a source of consultation for all those users interested in the care agenda.

### Implement mechanisms for decision-making

Once the CIS is published, it needs to be incorporated into active decision-making mechanisms that could lead to changes in the provision of public policies for care. Examples of such process include:

* Incorporation of the CIS into the development plans of government agendas, which will serve to set measurable targets for growth in the supply of care services, programmes and infrastructure. Periodic measurement of progress against the objectives of such plans could be linked directly to the CIS.
* Establish the CIS as a reference mechanism for the implementation of budgetary projects for health care, education, public social support programmes, or the building of care infrastructure.
* Incorporation of CIS results in government annual reports in terms of services, programmes and care infrastructure.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://open-data-charter.gitbook.io/open-up-guide-for-the-care-sector/implementation-milestones/publishing-the-care-indicators-system.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
